Wild Trout Trust Survey 2024-25
The association commissioned the Wild Trout Trust to carry out a survey of the river, the result of which will inform our key priorities and activities over the next couple of years. The report can be viewed here. A follow up visit is planned for 2025
Improved Beat Maps
The ELAA's committee members will be surveying the river over the 2024 season, to identify areas that are most suitable for young or novice anglers and for anglers with mobility issues.
This should be completed by the end of the 2024 season.
We will then add these areas onto our detailed beat map.
In the meantime we would like to encourage anyone wanting to know where the most suitable areas are, depending on their abilities, to contact us
