Learn to Fish on the Tyne
Free Fishing Tuition for 12-17 year olds.
Come along and learn to fly fish on the Tyne for 12-17 year olds. This is a great opportunity to introduce younger anglers to the sport and learn skills that can last a lifetime.
Sunday 25 August Session Starts at 10.00-12.00. Haddington.

Free to all 12-17 year olds
In this hands-on session with fishing instructors, young people will learn about:
River safety
The basic technique of casting
Which flies to choose / knots to use
The trout and the insects it feeds on
To book your place please email the association, providing the student's name, age, and preferred contact details so we can provide any more information about the event.
All fishing equipment will be supplied, please bring a hat, sunglasses, warm and waterproof clothes and sturdy footwear.
All participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
